Unboxing Your Order

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

Relax, it’s not Gwyneth Paltrow’s severed head. But if you haven’t seen the movie Se7en, give it a watch.

Included in each packaged transfer order are four very important items: your bill of sale, application instructions, a green pattern sheet, and your heat transfers.

bill of sale

Your bill of sale or packaging slip will include several very key pieces of information about your order.

PATTERN NUMBER
You’ll find what we refer to as your pattern number. This number will look something like 11172001-JM. You’ll want to either file the bill of sale OR the pattern number with your purchase order in the event that you need to re-order the design.

ORDER DETAILS
The bill of sale will also include all of the details of your order, including product, colors, sizing, quantity, shipping details, and more.

COST
Your subtotal will be included on the bill of sale. This is the total cost of your order excluding the cost of shipping. Shipping costs are assessed at the time of packaging based on each package’s unique size and weight. Your total with shipping costs included will be invoiced to you via email after your package has left our facility. Why do we do it this way? Simple, it makes shipping faster. And in the words of Ricky Bobby, “I wanna go fast.”

application instructions

Every heat transfer is uniquely formulated and will have application instructions that reflect the proprietary nature of each product. The application instructions provided with every shipment are a guide, a jumping off point. Due to variances in heat press machines, some testing may be necessary to zone in on the exact time/temp/pressure that works best for your heat press. It’s important to note that the instructions provided were developed using a commercial grade heat press. If you’re working with a budget heat press, you’ll need to adjust your settings accordingly.

Green Pattern Sheet

DO NOT PRINT THIS! Just kidding. No, we’re not kidding. DO NOT PRINT THIS. The green pattern sheet included in every order serves two purposes. First, it’s a visual reference of your design. Second, it’s an additional reference to the pattern number mentioned above which is needed if you intend to re-order the design. This pattern sheet is NOT a usable transfer and cannot be applied to a garment. Seriously.

The green pattern sheet is a proof and NOT a usable, printable transfer.

transfers

Finally! The meat and potatoes. Your transfers.

You’re excited. They look perfect. You cant wait to get started.

STOP RIGHT THERE!

Here are a couple steps to follow before you begin application onto your sell-able goods:

  1. Proof your order. Spend a few minutes looking everything over. Count your sheets and make sure it’s all there. Check art, check spelling, check colors. You’re human. We’re human. Mistakes happen and we’d rather catch it before finishing up a 100 piece order, right? If anything looks wrong, give us a call!

  2. Test print. We include at least one extra transfer with every order. If you think it’ll take you more than one test to zone in on the right time/temp/pressure settings, cut the transfer into quarters. Again, if something doesn’t look right or you can’t get a perfect application, give us a call!
